Occupational Therapy for Brain Injury, Fatigue, ADHD, Autism and Daily Living Support in Marbella, Malaga and the Costa del Sol
Helping expats and international families improve independence, confidence, and everyday life after neurological injury, illness, sensory challenges, or fatigue.
Home visits and online sessions available across Marbella, Malaga and surrounding areas.
I am Helle Jensen, a UK-qualified Occupational Therapist with more than 20 years of experience in specialist neurorehabilitation. I support children, teenagers, and adults who are finding everyday life more difficult because of brain injury, neurological illness, sensory processing challenges, ADHD, autism, fatigue, or cognitive difficulties.
My work is practical, personalised, and focused on real life. That may mean helping someone become safer and more confident at home, improving attention and memory for day-to-day tasks, supporting a child with sensory overload, or working with families and schools to create calmer and more successful routines. The goal is always the same: to make everyday life easier, more manageable, and more independent.
Based in Marbella, I offer home visits across the Costa del Sol and online support for international and expatriate clients.
Who I work with
I support:
adults recovering from brain injury, stroke, neurological illness or surgery
children and young people with sensory processing, ADHD or autism-related challenges
families who need practical support with routines, regulation and everyday functioning
expats and international families looking for experienced occupational therapy in southern Spain
Testimonials
Here’s what clients say about our Occupational Therapy services on the Costa del Sol: real experiences from expats and families who’ve benefited from personalised care, practical solutions, and support tailored to daily life in Spain.
“Helle has worked over the last year with my daughter, Fi, who has cerebral palsy.
Helle has focussed on particular difficulties which have impacted on Fi's life, for example related to balance and movement. Fi was unable to get in or out of the bath by herself. Helle analysed Fi's movements then recommended and practiced methods which, after one session, enabled Fi to carry this out by herself. This of course made Fi's daily life much easier (and mine) and gave her a huge sense of achievement and improved confidence.
Other areas in which Helle has helped Fi are crossing the road, stepping on and off the pavement and general mobility inside and outside.
A recent activity has been Fi's handwriting which has shown an amazing improvement ... going from totally illegible to legible!
We can't praise Helle enough for the many ways in which she has helped Fi.
