Meet Helle

I am a Highly Specialist UK registered Occupational Therapist, HCPC registered, with over 20 years’ experience working across acute hospitals, community services, and specialist neurorehabilitation settings.

Many of the people I work with are expats or international families living in southern Spain who are looking for experienced support. They want therapy that is not only clinically informed, but also practical, approachable and tailored to real life. I aim to make the process clear, supportive and collaborative from the very first conversation.

My clinical career has been shaped by extensive work with children, young people, and adults with complex neurological needs, including acquired and traumatic brain injury, disorders of consciousness, fatigue management, falls prevention, equipment provision and long-term neurodisability.

Alongside my clinical work, I have been actively involved in research, service development, and clinical leadership, ensuring that my practice remains current, reflective, and grounded in best evidence.

I believe therapy works best when it is personal, realistic and connected to what matters most in everyday life. My role is to understand the person behind the challenges and help them build confidence, independence and strategies that genuinely make life easier.
